My daughter and I took our dog for a walk in the woods today. Of course I took along the camera. The leaves weren't as colorful as I was hoping they'd be but I found other treasures to photograph instead. I really like this grasshopper. However, I don't like the brown leaf running across the green. So, when I return to my photo class this week I'll be asking for assistance in getting it out with Photoshop. I gave it a try but didn't like the results.

The grasshopper is so clearly in focus. The patterns on it are amazing.
