This guy caught a huge fish! If you look carefully you can see part of it still outside his bill. He really struggled to eat it. At times he couldn't keep his beak above the water. There's a whole series of pictures of him on flickr. Another pelican arrived and tried to take it from him. We think in the end that the fish escaped.

Would definitely count as the catch of the day! Good catch for the photographer as well.
