January 12 Well Loved Skates

Both of our children are hockey players and as a result we have a rink in our backyard. These skates are about 10 years old and were first worn by our son and then our daughter. They both wore them for state championship games in which both their teams won. We've offered to buy our daughter new skates but she refuses to part with these well loved and broken in skates.

    Interesting shot. I like the composition. They sound lucky. I don't think I'd want to part with them either.
