We had a snow day today so of course that meant heading outside with the macro lens. There weren't a lot of good flakes but I did find a couple. :) We only had a few inches of snow but up where I teach there was 8-12 inches. A true lake effect storm. (Same flake just cropped in nice and close.)

Incredible. I must admit I am not familiar with snow but I have read about the patterns eaach snowflake has.
