Today we had an assembly at my other school for the Ride for Missing Children. All the community members participating in the ride were invited to attend. Not all could be there but we still had a nice turn out and everyone was given a chance to talk about why they do the ride or something related to it.

LostNMissing, ran by a gal who makes banners for the Lost and Missing, has been entered into a contest on Twitter.
ReplyDeleteIf she ends up in the final twenty, she will have a huge spotlight put on her work that highlights the Lost and Missing.
I run www.InformingChristians.com and was contacted by one of her people.
The Twitter page keeps giving people a hard time opening and a lot of people give up trying to vote. As a result, many of the pretty girls are ahead. Some already famous people are in the contest too, like Oprah.
But, as of today, Sunday, LostNMissing is up in the top 20 and holding on because of people who have jumped on board and cast their votes for her. Hope you will join in and vote for her.
People can vote twice an hour, and the contest ends, June 8, 2009.
