Kevin Honeycutt asked for the name of our favorite flower and why the other day on Plurk. I honestly don't have one favorite flower. My favorite changes as each new flower blooms in the garden. I have favorite fragerances; lilac, iris, peonies, and lily of the valley but that doesn't make them my favorite flower. Sometimes I like the larger blooms better like clematis and sunflowers because they seem easier to photograph. But on other days I like the challenge of getting the little beauties like this one in focus.
