I think this spring it was either raining or I was biking or at a lacrosse game and I seemed to have missed photo opportunities for the tulips and daffodils this year. So, I resorted to trying some shots of the last remaining tulip today. Not a pretty specimin at first glance but I do like the colors and textures upon taking a closer look at it.

Though it is on its 'last leg', you have done an incredible photo to honor its departure - what a great photo!
