Today we took a road trip in my husband's '82 Corvette down to Watkin's Glen Race Track. It was opening day and for $20 that goes to a charity anyone can drive on the track. You get to go around three times. My husband has done it several times. This was the first year I got up early enough to go with him. The actual ride was disappointing since we had a mini van in front of us and she kept hitting the breaks every time we got to a fun part. Since you aren't allowed to pass we were stuck. But rest of the day was very enjoyable. The sun was out, the t-tops were off, we ate some good food and had some fun stopping at the finger lake wineries on the way home.
