The frame of a photograph is rectilinear. Fill that frame with a circular subject and make a photograph. Thanks to Colemama I found a new photo challenge today. It was just what I needed. I tried to take some pictures outside in the dark, something I'm terrible at, and they didn't turn out. At least this time I can blame the wind. On my way home from work today I was thinking that I needed to take more pictures of this vase and when I saw the challenge to take a picture of something circular I decided the vase would be perfect. This is a beautiful vase my daughter brought home from Europe last summer. It came from a glass factory they visited in Austria or was it Venice? I'll have to check with her later.

I too am just starting the Daily Shoot. I think that it will be helpful on days when I need inspiration. My mom has said that my daily photo is her daily connection with me. That alone was enough to keep me going for another year.
ReplyDeleteMartha, good to know you'll be doing it as well. I think it will be great for inspiration especially on these long winter nights when It's tough to get outside. That is so nice that your mom can connect to you through your blog. I'll have to see if I can set mine up as a favorite on a computer at my mom's retirement complex. If I could keep it at 2-3 clicks with written instructions she might be able to access it if she wanted. That would be a great motivation to keep going.
