Today was our youngest child's 18th birthday. We went out to breakfast as a family to celebrate. This afternoon her good friend came over with this cute cake. They hung out around the house for awhile then headed over to a good friend's graduation party. She was excited because she got to drive home after 9 legally for the first time. It didn't seem like much of a birthday but she had a great day. Tomorrow we'll go shopping-her birthday presents will be dorm room supplies.

Sometimes the simplest birthdays can be the best. Being with friends and family is the most important part and she had both.
