My sister brought this adorable little figure back from a trip to Ireland for me when I was in middle school. I've always been fascinated by the details in the wood carving. I love the bird in his beard. His expression is one of contentment. That's how I feel when I spend a considerable time outside working in the garden or photographing nature.
