This is probably the most common bird in our yard. I was hoping for a blue jay or cardinal but they weren't stopping by while I was out today. This was my favorite shot because of the way he's looking right at me. The feeder is near this forsythia bush and the like sitting in here to eat the seeds. As soon as it leafs out it gives them even better protection.

I like the way it is puffed up - a little round chickadee. Just listening to the cardinals as I write , but they are elusive.
