Last fall I brought my herb pots onto the back porch to enjoy them a little longer. Eventually it got cold enough out there that they died off. I was surprised a few weeks ago to see the chives emerging for another season. Another sign of spring.

I love chives - they have a lovel shape and colour to them. Great shot.
