The snow has finally melted off of part of my back garden so today I trekked down there to take a look for any signs of spring. This is the one I was most interested in seeing. I had this plant for several years and all it amounted to was some nice green foliage. Then a couple of years ago I went down to start the spring clean up and much to my surprise it had some beautiful flowers and it was still early spring! So now I look forward to this plant. I had to clear leaves off of the plant but sure enough there were lots of tiny buds like this just emerging. After I had my fun of taking some photos I covered it back up. I know we'll get some more cold weather yet. I also found some Autumn Joy buds. It's great to see the new growth!

It's obvious you take your photography seriously. Your incredible images may push me to learn more. I love the sharpness of the veins on the flower and the soft background. It's always a pleasure to visit your photos
ReplyDeleteThank you for the kind comments Susan. My renewed interest in photography is coming at a time that my children are growing up and don't demand much of my attention anymore. It's also a way to make sure I don't spend all my free time on school work which I could easily do.
